Welcome and Background Information!

Please click the video below for an audio "Welcome!" This clip will have instructions to familiarize you with this webpage.

Welcome to my online portfolio! Within this website you will find many different experiences I've had with children in the schools and my methods of teaching. Please feel free to browse the links that are located on the left panel. There you will find videos, pictures, lesson plans, links for extra practice for kids, and much more! Anything you need to find or wish to view, your starting point will be the left panel. To familiarize you with my webpage allow me to briefly explain each link. "Pages" consists of a list of links that contains any work I've done and my stances on reading, assessment, 5 Essential Components of Reading, read alouds and shared reading, guided/small group reading, using reading programs, independent reading, parental involvement, math assessments, and use of math manipulatives and literature. The section below "Pages" is called "Videos", any work I've done with students that has been recorded is located there. Below "Videos" you will find 3 different sections of links for extra practice in Reading, Math, and Writing. All of the videos and photos are authentic to teaching experiences I've had.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

______________________Background information on Ms. Freeman_________________

My name is Brittany Freeman and I am originally from Mobile, AL. I will be graduating from the University of South Alabama in May 2011 with a BA in Elementary Education (K-6). I count it a privilege to be able to walk alongside a child and to truly invest in them. I see the crucial and strategic standpoint of being a teacher and will take this position in children and families lives seriously. I am excited for this next chapter in my life and am hopeful for a classroom of my own next Fall.
